The Regulatory Agency Noun Type is not the same as a Regulation, a Regulatory Obligation, a Legal Entity, or a Compliance Control. A Regulatory Agency is the governing body itself. A Regulation is what the agency publishes. A Regulatory Obligation is what the enterprise must specifically do in response. A Legal Entity is the enterprise’s registered legal person that is subject to the agency’s jurisdiction. These are distinct Noun Types with distinct governance responsibilities, connected through the Enterprise Model graph.
