Hardware Infrastructure

(noun) The basic or underlying Hardware Devices, computing and non-computing, that represent the components of a System, Application, Product, Organization or a Facility and that act as its enabling foundation or framework for the purpose of its definition, design, delivery, verification, monitoring, and/or operations (i.e. through any point in its Life Cycle).

EXAMPLES: In the case of technical Systems, examples include but are not limited to Mainframe Computers, Mid-Range Computing Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Mobile Devices, Printers, Scanners, and FAX machines.
