Knowledge

(noun) The subjective and persisted body of experiences and understanding that results from the intake, analysis, and interpretation of Data and Information over a period of time — often considered a form of intellectual capital belonging to or derived from an Entity, such as a human Resource, an Enterprise, an Organization, or a Community.

NOTES: A: Knowledge is “not” always factual, as in the cases where people “knew” for generations that the sun revolved around the earth and that the world was flat. B: Knowledge is considered to be constantly evolving, as intake, analysis and interpretation of Data and Information continue. C: Data and Information that have been codified and persisted outside a human brain, such as in a Document or within Multimedia, are also considered to be “Objectified Knowledge”.
