Personal Record

(noun) A documented account of Data and/or Information that represents or helps describe the state of an item or object at one or more specific points in time, typically stored and indexed in a formal manner for later retrieval, to address needs such as accounting, auditing, compliance, litigation, or knowledge management, and that is formally associated with an individual Person or Resource.

NOTE: Personal Records should not automatically be perceived as Private Records, as there are many forms of Public Personal Records.
