  1. (noun) A typically bundled set of multiple and interdependent Projects and/or Releases being delivered to meet a greater set of common Goals, Objectives, Outcomes, or Imperatives.

  2. (verb) To write, develop, or otherwise create Software instructions intended to be executed by a computer.

NOTE: If you have created and are managing a single Project Plan, you’re probably performing Project Management, whereas, if you have more than one Project Plan that you are coordinating and managing, where there are interdependencies between them, you’re probably performing Program Management or what is also commonly referred to as Project Portfolio Management.
