(noun) A Software Build — the documented, repeatable, and preferably automated set of rules (a Build Configuration) for building and rebuilding Software, or a piece of Software, where such rules are typically composed of all relevant Dependencies, ordered and sequenced in a manner that defines how they should be applied for building.
